Scientific Computing Research Unit
The Scientific Computing Research Unit (SCRU) is built from a Computation and Modelling Laboratory, Informatics and Visualization Laboratory and a Virtual Laboratory. Our research groups are mostly interested in the development and applications of methods useful to Life Scientists and Material Scientists. We develop computation and informatics software using methods in applied mathematics and physics to construct algorithmic solutions useful to chemists and biologists. Our Virtual laboratory applies the computation and informatics technologies to provide models for experimental scientists aiming to achieve Translational Research goals in medical and chemical science.
