Dean's message

263The Faculty of Science is proud of its alumni and hopes that its alumni remain interested in the activities, successes and developments of their alma mater. To this end, since 2009, we have made use of electronic media to maintain a level of communication through our annual Alumni newsletter - Contact. Through Contact we hope to inform you about activities in the Faculty, how it has changed over the years, its achievements, and what challenges are being faced.

Our communication is not intended to be one-sided, and we encourage you to remain in contact with us, through our Marketing Section, and keep us informed about your lives, careers and achievements. Changes to your contact details are important to us to enable us to remain in contact

We are acutely aware of the considerable wisdom and expertise that exists collectively among our alumni. Your insights and perspectives as individuals who occupy positions in education, business, research and development, and a host of other careers, would be invaluable as we continually reflect on our future share and direction, to ensure that we remain able to produce high-quality graduates suited to the 21st century and produce research that has a high national and international impact.
