ACDI Early Researcher's Conference on Climate Change and Development
The African Climate & Development Initiative (ACDI) welcomes expressions of interest for participation in a one-day conference for students and early career researchers, taking place on the 6th March 2017 at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
The conference is aimed at early career researchers (those who have graduated or nearing graduation from Honours, Masters and Doctorate degrees) working on topics relating to the intersection of climate change and development. This annual event is an ideal opportunity for participants from different South African universities and multiple disciplines to share their research methods and findings with their colleagues in South Africa.
We are accepting abstracts from all disciplines of academia where the intersection of climate change and development is a key component of the research. Click here to register.
Applications for posters and presentations are now open (deadline: 7 February, 2017). There will be prizes for the best oral and poster presentations.
The deadline for conference registration is the 14 February 2017, participants are welcome to attend as participants, without submitting abstracts.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the day of the conference.
